Application/Profile Updated -- Ghost Update on Profile

Submitted application on 5th June.
22 July eligibility review started

Just logged in account and status was changed from submitted to Application/Profile Updated. But there's no update in account and no email. Also, later it changed to Submitted again.

Any thoughts? Or anyone faced similar situation?

It happens sometimes. A visa officer is probably working on the application, that may be the reason you see status as "updated" and yet no update seen.

Look like an internal update on your profile. Perhaps you can expect some news in coming days.

That's why it comes something like that but there's no way to know about that. You have to wait till further updates.

It's back to submitted. I searched for this and found out that it is normal to happen in the PR applications. Nothing related to study permits. But let's see.

That's what I read in the context of PR profiles and sometimes there's just no update, anyhow looking forward to it. Although updating status on the profile and "actually" updating later doesn't make sense.

Nothing makes sense these days .. But don't try to think too deep of these status updates. Most of these things are automated and running behind the scene. You may or may not get an update this week..

I had the same status change one day before I got my AIP. Hopefully you will receive it 24 hours.

I also think that you will receive your first stage approval or refusal soon.

I applied on July 17
And this statuschange/ update (glitch or whatever ) happened on July 21 and later back to submitted . No email or update since then.. or this is an exercise from ircc for us to decode while we await our decisions lmao..

You will get you result within the next 24 hours. Its called Ghost Update
