Hi, our PR application has been completed in May of this year, but IRCC is saying we need to wait a bit more to get PR. Autism is not an issue in one's application. They are taking very good care of my son here. He goes to a fantastic special education school. We have daily communication with the teachers, principal, and vice principal. We also receive reports and go on regular meetings about his progress.
did you send any supporting documents for your child? on my side i dont send anything even school records, my medical is already passed but i dont know if its all for my family or for just me

Did you receive PR card? I have a son with Angelman syndrome, IRCC asked me to send the medical for him. Please guide me whether I need to send Individual Education Plan (IEP) or another documents.

Hello everyone
I have a 4 year autistic child with mild to moderate level diagnosed by the paediatrician. I am in Australia and due to his condition my visa has been refused. Are we eligible to apply for PR to Canada? Please guys help me with genuine information. It’s so stressful that your kid is considered a burden to the taxpayers where you paid tax for 10 years. Will my pr application be impacted with his situation??
Help pls
Thank you

What visa were you and your child applying for? Visas are processed separately so what were the reasons for both of your refusals. Did it specifically mention your child and healthcare issues? Usually that is not a reason listed. Autism is not a reason for refusal for PR.

We applied for PR. (Me, my husband and my 13 months old son and 4 year autistic son).
As mentioned in refusal letter that my son does not meet health requirements because of his autism. According to the medical officer commission my son exceeds the health threshold. And one fail all fail.
