Hello, I am wondering if anyone is having the same experience as myself.

Location: Ottawa, ON

Physical Presence Days: 1125

Application: Single

AOR: March 1st

No update whatsoever since March 1st! The status of my application is in progress for LPPB.

Here is the update I got from MP regarding my application:

"As per the IRCC, your application is processing in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The criminality assessment is still in progress, the security has passed, residency and language not started, and the knowledge test has not been done yet."

Is this normal?

Hi everyone,

I am a Canadian living in the UK. My partner is English and we had a baby in the UK. I am filling the online form to get citizenship for our baby. I am at the document upload screen where it's asking for a IMM 5476 as a required document to upload. How do I fill this out? My child isnt old enough to sign the document (section D). Do I sign on their behalf? Thank you!

You don't need to gather any document here, IRCC doesn't need your tax return. Just list the years and yes/no for each one.

Hello Everyone

i have a removal order question in my Citizenship application. In 2015, while applying for LMIA supported work permit , i got denied at POE at US canada border, and allowed to leave letter was given. did this consider as removal order? moreover, while at POE, I came to know that i was schedule to attend a admissibly hearing at CIC edmonton due to subsection 44. i was allowed to enter canada in order to attend hearing. I attended and was told that no enforcement action would be taken as i left Canada voluntary which ended the alleged non compliance. i left canada after that and applied for PR under express entry and given all the details in my application. Application was approved in 2019. landed as permanent residance in MAY 2019.
moreover, i know i have to truthful in my application and applying for Citizenship and i m saying "YES" to the question # 4 under PROHIBITION THAT " ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN UNDER REMOVAL ORDER" OR YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED BY CANADIAN OFFICIAL TO LEAVE CANADA"

so the question is "DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO GOT CITIZENSHIP WHILE SAYING YES TO THIS PROHIBITION QUESTION"

Hi I have a question for submitting proof for english language what did you submitted if you didn't gave IELTS or any other test in past ?
I have done my masters degree in IT but from India and on the degree certificate it is not mentioned that the course was in english.

I was filling up online citizenship form for my wife. She filed all the previous taxes except 2023 as we haven't yet prepared it and the deadline is still there. Does anyone know how many years of taxes should be filed for the eligibility. Should I just say yes on taxes filed for this year because she will file them in few days.

I came to Canada on 2019 and I became PR on 2022. I did fill taxes returns on 2019, 2020, 2021. On 2022, I just worked for only 4 months due to my unemployment, but I didn’t apply for EI. Is it gonna affect my citizenship application?

I am eligible to apply for citizenship and my wife got my PR through spousal PR and did not write IELTS. Her college document does not indicate medium of instruction as english and we are having a tough time getting that doc. Can you use the higher secondary education mark sheet(12'th std) from india. If anyone has used, please let us know.
