how many in this forum have sent transcripts and how many have sent trtanscripts
also hamid has a point. i face a similar situation. can anyone suggest a way out
"how I can write down the main duties on my experience letter. I have requested to hospital where I got house job training but they dont understand and not willing to give me full job duties experience letter please guide me what i can do.......? "
i ve sent notarised copies not the transcripts.
i think u can take reference letters frm Head of deptt or senoir consultants mentioning ur duties and submit as proof of work exp. thats what i ve done the same. im a specialist and had to show my job duties. no hosp writes job duties on experience certificate.
hi everyone,
jus need some info regarding mccee. after giving the exam in how much time result comes? also approx. what is the good score or passing score?
Hi doc28,
Mccee result comes in 7 weeks from the window period of exams. the passing marks are 250. different questions have different weightage and are marked differently. So for some correct answers you will get 1 mark and for others 2 or 3, ( quite confusing isnt it?)
Doc
hi doc!
the whole process is so confusing!! so many exams...n then also one is not sure that one will get residency or not..

@hamid ..hi i m also in your shoes .i also applied with one year experience . do you think thtwillbe accepted. because i m now in US .. i have worked continuouslyone year before coing to US.. and i have also one year post graduate training.. pls give me some advice. i m worried .
Dear doct. My friend who worked as in nurologist in us for 4 years had to appear in mccee. So there is absolutly no confusion as mentioned in the web site that if u have passed mbbs from outside us or Canada u will have to appear in mccee. Wether u are board qualified or not. Some provinces may make exeptions in special cases. But this is not the norm. Doc
hi doct
i think doc is right. one has to clear MCCEE.
though i ve heard persons getting fellowships for 1-2 years in anaesthesia, radiology without any exams who were IMG's from India but they cant practice.
thanx for replying doc & doc28
yes i checked tat n we have to pass MCCEE to practice in canada...
acctully i already did much of my prepration for usmle step1 and i m going to appear soon... so i m thinking to go for usmle step1 1st then i will do step2 and MCCEE same time... both r almost same

u can give step2 no problem, but step1 helps alot in prepration of step2 this is point where most seniors advice to take step1 1st, but if u r comfortable u can go
U r right I know . thats why i was preparing step I earlier. But when I applied for immi to canada i thought of trying MCCEE first. Jus studying now. lets see what happens next. thanks.

ok..may be its slightly slow in ISBD CHC. but seeing ur timelines u took a long time in sending full application. To save time i was ready with imp documents before i got approval frm NS. also gave IELTS. so when i received AOR i jus had to take exp letters,PCC & bank statements.
