Hi
I need your help Experts.
Summary of my profile.
Company 1 NOC 2712 – dec 2009 to July 2012 Experience = 32 months
Masters : Aug 2012 – May 2014
Company 2 NOC 2712 – July 2014 to Feb 2015 Experience = 8 Months
Company 3 NOC 2712 – Feb 2016 2014 to March 2016 Experience = 11 months.
Got ITA in March
AOR in May
Company 4 May 2016 – till date .
Total experience = 51 Months at the time of ITA from company 1,2 & 3.
I've two questions here
1. Does my experience before masters will be counted as continuous full-time and included with my recent experience?
2. As I changed my job before AOR and didn't update CIC regarding it, will it cause an issue? The letter i sent to CIC from my 3rd job mentions I worked there till march but couldn't get a new letter from company 4.
Thanks
first go thru the link given below
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp --->obviously you meet the 67 out of 100 to qualify under this category...which is why ita was issued
cic website states regarding fsw employment that:
Minimum requirements
Skilled work experience
Your work experience must be:
•at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week),
continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
•paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
•
in the same job,
•within the last 10 years, and
•at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).
what that means is, basically you have to have an employment under the same job and same noc (under noc 0, A, B) for a year...year 1 gets you points and year 2 gets you points...but it has to be continuous for a year...only under CEC can it be discontinous..like 6 months in job1 and 8 months for another, totally 14 months=points for 1 year
q1.for the points calculation you will get points under job1 for 2 years..24 months in same job under same noc...(it could have also been this way job1 with comp A for year and job 2 with comp B for a year, so 2 years totally but the noc for both the jobs have to be the same)
job 2 and job 3 no points...because it was not a year
it has nothing to do with your education...education outside of Canada, even if you were working and studying counts towards points
q2. yes it 'might' create an issue. Although your last employment letter states you have worked there till march, you have to update CIC truthfully regarding your new job. AFAIK, anything pre-AOR you have to notify.
its an easy fix...raise CSE(google ircc webform) and submit your new employment letter with a letter of explanation...
hope this helps!
