Good plan! Just a word of warning.. if you stay for two years in Dubai and then move you may have trouble when you try to renew your PR in five years' time.

I think I'll give it til the weekend and if no movement occurs, I will order them on Monday.

order now pal as it will reach you after a month.. during such time for sure a lot of movements happen in your file.

I applied for it and expect to receive on May 5 even I just received AOR 3 weeks ago..

What? What kind of trouble? and for Qatar also?

Your PR will be valid for 5 years. In order to renew it you must not have been outside of canada for more that 1095 days in the last 5 years (more info here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445ETOC.asp)

If you spend the first two years outside of Canada that's 730 days already... I guess you see where I'm going with this

Received my GCMS notes yesterday. Just ordered another one.

They were requested on March 14th, 87 pages long! Generated on march 15th, sent April 11th.

There were only 2 updates by an agent on it:

02/24 - verifying documents and such, meds passed -- also said "Application sent for r10 review"
03/09 - Education Documents were verified and consistent with what I declared.

Also said:

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not started
Criminality: In progress
Medical: Passed.


Did not say r10 passed anywhere... yet i received bowp? not complaining but strange.

yep, generated march 15th. Absolutely no changes after meds passed. basically my application hasn't been touched other than to pass my meds
