I graduated post grad in Canada so I only submitted my degree in my application.
In the form I declared that my spouse got a bachelor degree but wasn't evaluated and thus no ECA available. So we don't claim points for it.
In the require documents it still requests to submit the bachelor degree of my spouse so we only submit the orginal copy without the ECA. I've noticed in the instruction of IRCC that you only have to provide ECA if you claim points for it...
Just an update on my side; I've applied to Qatar CEID for a new PCC and now I'm getting multiple PCCs, both for myself and my wife. Apparently they cannot provide a single PCC that covers the first day of entry to the country to date, or an open PCC for that respect. I was lucky our previous visits to Qatar happened in a time-frame where we did not stay outside long hence the officer decided to provide a separate PCC that covers the period when we were visiting as tourists.
Counter-intuitively I don't want to see any updates on my profile until I upload the new PCCs; hopefully I'll get them tomorrow.
Right time is taking too long hope to see things moving soon after the horrible long Oinp wait patience has already been tested enough and is almost nonexistent now :'(
I hope that the CIC comes up with a more elaborate breakup of the status than just saying background check.
It will help everyone assess their situation and plan for the future accordingly. Ordering GCMS notes is time consuming and a lot of work for both sides.
