Hi, hoping to gain from others who are more experienced here:
FSW - O
AOR - 17th Jan 2023
Biometrics passed - 24th Jan 2023
MEP - 27th Jan 2023
RPRF - 3rd Feb (paid on the same day, I had not paid upfront)
Tracker shows - eligibility passed
Background check - not started
Questions:
1)How long does background check typically take? I have travel plans in end of March - April first week. Hoping the PPR does not coincide with my travel plans.
2) My passport is set to expire in December 2023. Should I apply for a renewal already and inform ircc or wait for COPR and then update?

Thanks! Interestingly all the Application status in the portal still say “In Review” or “Processing” etc. If not for the RFV email there’s no other indication that everything has passed.
