we in the March AOR group are still waiting on PPR's. CIC's focus shifts to the next month once they achieve 80% of the PPR's under 6 months. The remaining 20% of the AOR's trickle in over the course of the months past the 6 month waiting period *sigh*

i'm sorry yours is taking so long! among the people remaining in march, have you discovered any commonality in the ones that have taken longer? is there anything "special" about your cases? could it be something like criminal record checks taking longer in certain countries etc?

No trend among these applicants. March AOR's still pending are across all EE categories (FSW's, PNP's, CEC's) and various visa offices (although the majotiy are from NDVO and Ottawa). Majority of these applicants also have BG checks In Progress for almost 6-8 weeks now and most have also passed eligibility.

i've already called CIC directly and spoken to Ottawa over the phone. i've been tole everything is fine, my application is complete, i don't need to provide any additional documents, that i'm eligible and Ottawa is doing background checks right now; no military service or any sensitive work/travel history that would take longer for my background checks either. so no point ordering GCMS notes right now because they won't tell me anything I don't already know. essentially, i've been told everything is ok and i should just wait.
when i started down this process, i gave myself around a 8 month time frame to get my PPR from the point of getting AOR since the 6 month mark is something CIC strives to process applications under. it's been 6.5 month for me since AOR so i think i should wait a bit more and be patient as hard as it is

Have you ever ordered gcms notes before ? I think it's better to order one and see what's happening and it will give you more detailed info than they tell over the phone.

I wonder whether there is a trend for people who have late month AOR's being left behind in the 20% club more often? If targets are monthly and the target quota is met, does that reflect in more late month AOR's taking longer...? Just a thought.. will have to take a look at the data when I get a chance!

As per the data from NDVO sheet & March AOR sheet, there is no such trend of date.
Those who are still waiting are spanning from March 1st for March 31.
