It is time for all ICT who are in dilemma to claim 50 points. There are many cases to prove that we are very much eligible to claim those golden 50 points. That would help us to increase the chances of invitation (ITA). Please don't hesitate to post your query even it is silly one. Everyone is learning here and helping each other with their experience. I strongly believe every question will get an answer from this forum.
Anyone without Computer degree but used NOC 2171 and got PR ?
As per definition on CIC website, NOC 2171 applicant should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. What do we do if our job profile is matching with NOC 2171 but do not have a Computer's degree ?

Your degree does not matter. What matters is the list of duties mentioned in your reference letters. As long as the duties in this list match those listed on the StatsCan website for your chosen NOC, you should be fine.
I know this thing from day 1 and I have submitted my application irrespective of different stories against these 50 points. The end result, everyone aware of it. Afterwards, I have seen many cases got PPR similar to my case. I think we should be careful with the reference letters that our employers. If we are good at that point, then no need of any second thought.
I wish all the ICT people get their PPRs.
Happy to part of this forum and I'm happy that i'm helping others with their queries with my little knowledge about PR.
