MCVO is currently working on December applicants. CANANICA from Nicaragua received AOR2 on July 20. 135 days after SA. Things are moving... albeit slowly. As a January applicant I'm hoping in 2 weeks to a month we will receive AOR2 from Mexico.
I am on the same boat, I'm very pessimistic. I'm tired of this, how long will they be working on late 2014 applicants? It looks like there's only one agent working on family applications. Skilled worker applicants have been receiving their aors and so on and we're stuck here. I just want to see ANY 2015 applicant receive their AOR 2. I'm not really buying anymore that the SD transfer is the one causing the delay. They are the VO for almost all latinamerica. I'm sorry for the rant :'(
Anyway, I already booked my flight for December I can't wait anymore.
While some cases may be processed in record time, you do realize that Mexico is taking around 17 months to process most cases, right? December would make it only 9 months for your case and if you are relying on your immigrant visa to enter Canada, you have probably wasted your money on a ticket you probably will not be able to use.

Oh thanks, yes I know that, but I'm the sponsor, I'm in Canada. I'm going to see my husband in December.
This has been an amazing week for the México VO. Good luck to all!

Oh well, that changes things! I am from Venezuela but I was processed in Ottawa as I lived in the US at the time my US/Canadian spouse lodged the application and we were lucky enough to have been living together in the US before we came to Canada so we didn't suffer a separation. Good luck to you!
I couldn't tell ya. We have no UCI# for my husband yet. Sucks... still in limbo. I've basically decided that it probably won't be until October or November before we even get our AOR2 from Mexico....stupid immigration. Makes me grumpy!
Last night I tried using the application file number and my husbands information and it worked!!!!!!
I've been trying the UCI number this whole time and nothing. Now I can see my husbands ecas with only his information and this famous address section that everyone is talking about lol.

The UCI# listed on the Sponsorship Approval belongs to the sponsor. The applicant's UCI# will come with the first communication CIC sends to the applicant, letter or email. After the SA, the applicant's UCI is assigned, but you won't know the number until CIC sends the applicant something. The applicant's UCI# will eventually be the number on the PR card. You can always use the application number as a reference until you have the applicant's UCI#.
