hii all
i received letter form embassy in egypt say that:


"Applications for permanent residence in canada in the immigrant category in which you have applied currently require approximately 6 to 12 months to process at this office for routine cases"

is that true ?& this mean that my file will have 6 months over ?
i can't beleive
plz any1 can help me i want to understand this !!!!!!!!!!

those are average times, but sometimes it may be shorter if never been married kids no criminal background or longer depending on your situation e.g. if you have over stayed previously in Canada. or if they don't believe your relationship is genuine and require further information or if something is missing or not signed on the application form.

the point is, there are lots of things outside ofyour span of control and no need to worry about it, just plug on and the time will pass quickly.

btw i am not from Egypt but to me it seems the way it works from what i have read on the forum. We all know how you feel, i miss the hubby terribly and i try to keep occupied and look at other options as well.
