I have been searching threads to see if I can find someone in a similar situation to get time lines, but I haven't been able to find one.
So here is my question: We sent in our outland application for Family sponsorship of spouse. It was received on Jan 4, 2018 (as per my USPS tracking). but we have not received any notification of receipt or our case number, nothing. Does this seem too long?? I have tried linking our paper application to my our RBC Sign-in but there is "no record" of us. Am I just getting impatient or should I have heard something by now? Also, the current processing time says 12 months (ugh) does that timer start once we get our number or when they received it?? Any info will be greatly appreciated! thank you!
Check out the January 2018 outland thread (should be on the first page of this forum) for an idea of AOR timelines. From a quick glance, it looks like people who submitted around the same time as you received their AOR a couple of weeks ago, so at this point you may want to assume your application is being returned to you. Try calling IRCC - they should be able to tell you if it's being (or has been) returned
UGH! I was kind of thinking the same! I was so sure I did everything correctly! I quadruple checked it! I tried calling the 888-242-2100 number today - I am actually in Edmonton visiting - but I cant even get put in the cue for HOLD. it just says...busy call back another time. Very frustrating... thank you!
