Hello,
I filled an outland spouse sponsorship application from USA in June. The package was received/signed for on June 24th 2016. However, I have yet to hear from Immigration Canada and when I check online with our receipt number I get a message that our application can't be found. Should I worry yet? Should I contact Immigration Canada to find out what is happening. I live in Quebec, does that have an impact on the duration of the process?

Try not to worry. Some people don't get an AOR, they simply get their SA approval letter. It is taking on average 59 days to receive that even though the website says 56 days. I would call after 60 days if you haven't heard anything. Best of luck!!
agreed. this is not something to worry about yet. more than likely you will not be able to sign into ECAS until AFTER receiving SA. not being able to sign in means nothing. CIC won't do anything until you have passed the processing time for SA on the website.
I would recommend finding the June applicant thread to see who's receiving AOR and when (it appears many people are not receiving AOR). You will get a better idea of what to expect by seeing what other June applicants are receiving. Applications generally get processed close to chronological as possible.
Any idea if it applies to dependent child application as well? I had asked in another post about my situation, if there is a mistake in the primary applicant's application, will they still give a case number or go ahead with approval of sponsor? OR, will they just return the whole packet, sponsor application and all?

We received the letter and then a few days later the site changed...The site was messed up for us...
It took my husband and I 62 days to hear from them after we send our application.
All the best.
