So, I saw a tiktok today that if I answered the question "Have you ever been refused a visa or permit" incorrectly even by mistake, I could get banned for 5 years.
I am currently waiting for my open work permit application and I checked my IMM5710e and found out that I answered "NO" to that question where I recently was refused for Work Permit (PGWP) extension because I passed the deadline to submit for an extension under the Public Policy.
Now, I believe that I should answer "YES" to that question and provide more details about it.
So the question now is, what is the best way to correct this mistake? I submitted a web form for amendment, but is this sufficient? Will I see the new IMM5710e form in my account once they update it?
