Hi farhan,
Any idea abt aussie immigration for overseas pharmacist .Wish to know if pharmacist still required.
For Australia, they require retail & hospital pharmacist, but no industrial pharmacist.
Well, be optimistic Siddharth, in Jan 2013, we'll be applying.........did u get any up-date from PEBC?
hi sidharth
well in australia for pharmacist immigration u hav to appear in stage1 exam that is not difficult but i think we have to take 7.5 in academic in ilets for that and then you can apply as pharmacist not like in canada but dont know now what wwill be their requirment hope they will just ask for credential assesment not more then that otherwise it will be difficult for us cuz canadian pharmacy initial stage exam is far difficult then here

Hi everyone!
What is the possibility that CIC will require our spouses to take IELTS?
Should we wait for the announcement or let our spouse prepare for IELTS before january 2013?
Hope to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks!

for 2013 calender, EE will take place twice - first in Jan 2013 (the deadline for application submission is Nov 2012) and the second one is scheduled on Jul 03 & 04 (on 03rd there will be MCQ part and on 04th, there will be OSCE part - the deadline for application submission for this one is April 2013). I'm preparing for Jul 2013. Just downloaded the syllabus for EE - its gonna be a big one.....yet challenging...
The fee is 515 CAD $. Can be taken even prior to immigration. There are 7 locations in Canada, where EE takes place (Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, BC, Manitoba, Qubec ....just forgot the 7th one).
Or if you desire to take EE in London, you can, but the fee is 850 CAD $ then.......

Though I didn't read it in any official website of CIC, but as a general & strong belief of pplz, CIC would rather impose this condition - as if you claim points for spouse education / credentials, in that case they would also required the spouse to have IELTS taken with some (majority say 5+ bands over all) good band score.
Would again say, its not a definite or confirm statement, I just went through such type of blogs.............God knows better. On my side, at least I'm making my spouse to take IELTS in Sep this year.
Re: Hi everyone
Hi everyone,
My name's Sushant, from India. I am trying to immigrate to Canada for work purposes and to get permanent residentship but I'm quite unoblivious of the job scenario over there. I'm from the banking field and I'm working here in Mumbai, India for a well known private sector bank. I'm a team leader handling a team of 5 looking after the bank's Corporate Internet Banking portal. The profile is partially process related and partially system testing oriented. Prior to this, I was working for a internationally wellknown Fortune 500 company for a period of 4 yrs 10 months for the credit cards LOB as a Portfolio Risk Analyst here in India itself
I was wondering if people like me with the above described profile have enough job opportunities in Canada to look forward to work and migrate there for real.
So I'm putting forward my dilemma to you guys asking for your help to make me understand my stand in the job market in Canada.
Cheers
Sushant Anchan
