Dear Forum Members,
An applicant which gets visa and lands at Canada, Is still he/she needs educational credential assessment, how much its requirements or for a landed person not so much worthy? What are your comments? I mean if it is beneficial then we should get this before landing.
Its worth it, if your job is not regulated & you wanna do professional job right after landing.
But if you need to pass further examinations to become regulated professional(like in case of Engineers, Doctors etc), then its not that much beneficial.
Thanks for congratulations, whats the reason behind that PPR2 being issued on Monday? I am planning to leave end September or early October for Edmonton.

Very precise and beneficial answer. I am a Mechanical Engineer, so i dont need much for this assessment. However i am planning to get along with me the sealed verification for my engineering credentials from my university for APEGGA membership.

Anyone whose received PPR1 so far, can you please confirm if we need to send just the 1st page of the Pakistani passport? I ask because will need to submit my passports for hajj and want to take photocopies before that.

Alhamdulillah, got passport back with visa and COPR. one set of COPR with photograph (CIC copy), other set of COPR without photograph (Applicant Copy), Also immigration officer signature space empty, i think it will be signed at the time of Landing. Am i understand right?

I don't know the reason or logic behind it but now a days they are issuing PPR2 on Monday & returning stamped PP on Friday(only if you are able to dispatch photos & mailing label on Monday & there is no holiday in between).
