hassan and samk ..we all may applicants (early as 2nd may ) have been waiting and there are no updates yet for us.. so all june applicants relax and keep in mind a minimum of 90 days ..my advice will be dont plan or book anything before end september atleast. Good luck

No news at all. Applied on My 10.
Actually it is for my father. I already have the visa but I wanted him to accompany me. It looks like I will have to travel alone now, otherwise weather will be freezing in Montreal. This waiting has made the ticket prices rocketed. Hopefully things will be sorted out soon.

No what i want to find out is that are we 8 to 10 people 'special 'or 'blessed ones' ??or majority in May is yet to get any response.
Is the Standard response time 90 to 100 Days from 1st May for majority??
or are we the only ones left??

Plus you are right about increased airfare.. Lahore to Newyork ( as i plan to go to US first) is 1 lac more expensive for my family (3 tickets) right now compared to when i checked for first week of July.

When we are expecting. Which phenomenon they are following even the June applications are approved. 5)3 maximum delay is due to background check I guess.

Applied Tourist visa via paper from Lahore on 17th May. After 80 to 85 days recieved an email and text msg from VFS Lahore that you are now required to submit additional information. Not sure what it is. I hope its an error and our passports have arrived. Does anyone know our have encountered such issue while applying Tourist visa?? Can anyone share their experience??

the thing i want to mention here is that there is no specific document requested..not mentioning what exactly do they want...just got email and text to submit documents..cant reply to it too as its auto generated from VAC...so thats why i thought its an error
