Thanks for the reply. Are you planning to email the embassy regarding the delay? The processing time is increasing every week and I doubt we have enough time to reapply if God forbid our study permit gets rejected.

I just emailed embassy 5 days ago. You guys should too. Go to CIC then find the section "Case specific enquiry"

Did you guys attach police character certificates with your application? I attached a notarized photocopy and now heard that the original might be required.

Nope. Why original required? I attached the same photocopied one. Because its not easy to get one and they keep all your file if they refuse.

I applied on 23rd March even before your date, haven't received anything.
Let me clear you one thing, If THEY have decided to reject your case then they do it in just 4 weeks or Less.
Because my 1st application was returned to me in only 7 days. With no major reasons. Same happened at that time with many of other applicants whom I knew.
So, at least you have crossed the risky weeks.

I hope that it is true for all of us and I am praying that we get our permits very soon. Well, have you sent an email to cic inorder to inquire about the status of your application?

I applied online and it wasn't mentioned in the checklist. Therefore, I didn't attach it.

this applicant didn't even bothered to attach yes its not in the checklist but its worth is more than our thoughts. My cousin's visa was refused on this basis. But U don't have to worry as I said earlier you have crossed risky weeks.

Ohh! I think they can ask me to submit it if they think it's necessary.

YES. No response from there too. They do reply but take little time.

I filled the IRCC form on Monday.

Applied on 18th April with upfront medical through VAC Islamabad. No decision from CIC yet.

You will get reply within 10 days I guess

A. A, i ve applied on 3-3-2017 from lahore 4 study petmit. I emailed at ircc web for my case status on 22 may, 2017, n they replied that " your case in in queue by an visa officer". Hec is funding me. I know a person who applied on 3-4-2017 and hegot visa on 30-5-2017. Hec is also funding to him.
Our case is same.
My funding is going to expire.
I am in need of worthy suggestion
