Stage 1: We check your eligibility
In this stage, an officer reviews your application for
a letter of acceptance from a DLI
a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (if you’ll be studying in Quebec)
proof that you have enough money for
tuition fees
living expenses for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada, and
return transportation for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada
any family ties you may have to Canada
evidence that you’ll leave Canada when you no longer have legal status
If your application passes this first stage, we’ll let you know by email or in your online account. This doesn’t guarantee that we’ll approve your application and issue you a study permit.

I agree bro. This is very disappointing. I am studying online from September. Many applicants applied after me got their decision. Even some Nov and Dec applicants. This is surprising since I submitted a complete non-SDS application following by Bio in early July. I know that there are some applicants like me.
Most common reason for rejection. You can show property, family (immediate spouse & kids, parents don't hold much value as per them), a job waiting for you when back, etc. Then based on the subjective decision VO makes he will decide on your character if you will leave the country or stay back on streets and do drugs. Apparently as per them, people are so desperate to come to Canada & live on streets with illegal status.
