My medicals were screwed up by dmp in chicago, serafin veramandi. I send status enquiry to detroit, they replied me saying ottwa hasn't received my son's medicals. And when contacted the doctor, he says, he don't have any thing pending and he send long back in november 2010.
In a week i will be completing a year in waiting and this DMP SCREWED UP. I don't know what to do know.
I got my passport back today with visa. I wish that everyone will get it soon.
time: Nov, 2010 physical
Feb, 2011 second physical done
March, 2011 transfer to detroit.
April, contact with detroit and found one physcial document is missing.
End of April, submit the missed document.
May, request for passport.
June, summit passport.
June, get the passport back in 7 days with visa.
My process is delayed a little bit by physical examination. But Detroit office is very efficient and actually they responded my every request very promptly and inform me what to do and what happen to my application. I really appreciate their work.

I sent an enquiry to Detroit yesterday and got reply with in an hour that my application is ready for finalization and will receive the instruction in the next few weeks. I don’t know how long still I still have to wait. It has already been over 12 months period.
At least they are telling you that your application is finalized, i have written to Buffalo three times and they just say 'your application is in process, we cannot give you a date when it will be complete'

It happened to me too, did you send a cashiers check? if you did , check when did you send it becuase my experience, my lawyer sent the cashier check July 20 something and the consulate pstmarked my application that they received it August 13, 2010..then I reeive a letter to change my check becuase the cashiers check is valid only for 90 days. So i sent again another check oct 2010, few days after I got the letter and it was cashed last dec 21, 2011. I just recieve my med request last may 13, 2011.
So check your bank if it has beeen cashed or not otherwise, you might need to send a new cashiers check (if you did cashiers check).
