It takes approximately 18 days for your visa to be issue. so if you wish to travel with your husband,in a month time, maybe u should think about resigning soon before the visa come out.once they request your passport and you pay the fee they won't refuse giving you your visa.
I just want to share something new. I asked Detroit for my status and I received an e-mail back requesting origional set of finger prints for my spouse ASAP. Before my file got transferred ,last year, the Buffalo asked me to send them my Finger cased Police certificate from Canada which I did immidiately. I e-mailed them last time if they needed my spouse cerificate as well and there was no reply. My consultant told me that he had never seen any request of sending the orgional set of finger prints to Canadian Consulate.
Anyway, I sent them finger prints yesterday and also I sent them finger based Police certificate from Canada through RCMP Ottawa. Interestingly, I also received an IA letter last month that they did not need any more documents and interview but still they asked for the above.
HELLO ALL, Need a help/advise. I sent my passport to Buffalo visa office on Tuesday. Actually I shipped it to their Fort Erie address. It reached fort Erie yesterday, Thursday. When I sent my package I added feature for receiver to sign off. It is Friday already and nobody from Buffalo visa office went and pick-it up the package. Should I give more time or was a signature request a bad idea? Any suggestions what should I do?

I just checked CanadaPost website again. My package was mailed. Hopefully it is a visa and not an error instructions. Hopefully I will have my package on Wednesday. I will might go to border this weekend., probably Cotts, AB. I will have to finalize import procedures for my car, as I bought it in USA when I worked there.
