I thought you are from visa exempt nation and in few posts before you've said that you will get COPR not PPR...

I'm from visa exempt nation as well and get confused now. How it works?

Hi vwewa,

Yes I got a request to send a copy of my passport and not the actual passport.
visa exempt nationals just need to send 2 photographs/ copy of your passport, bio data form and a self addressed envelope.
cic will then issue a copr which will be sent back to you in the self addressed envelope.

Bala and sahap did the Cic ever asked for CPC from you guys?
I red somewhere in this forum that it is 1 of the issue for the delay.
Someone told me that I was asked for CPC coz someone with the same name has a criminal record.
