thanks bro, I am now waiting for the PPR/COPR.
another wait begins , I think CIC takes about a month to send the COPR.

PPR is sent via email and COPR is returned along with the passport by mail.
and for visa exempt nationals COPR is sent directly by post without PPR.

In that case give yourself about 2 weeks for COPR to arrive in the normal mail.

I have been a silent reader for past couple of months here....I had an early Feb Application ( 4 Feb).....In process since 21 Aug and still waiting for PPR.

Just wanted to know did all of you guys receive a confirmation from CIO/ Visa office when you sent the RPRF receipt via email?

I read somewhere that you get an auto-response but I did not get any, so just worried.

Today I called CIC call center and asked regarding my file. He said a decision as been made on your file on January 30 but my file is not clear whether it was approved or not because 2 officers are working closely for Feb & March files and the file is transferred to Ottawa. He added a note to the officer to give a clear statement regarding the file.
He also said if it is approved you will be getting a letter by e-mail & if it is declined you will be getting an letter of refusing.

My file received at 24 March, 2014
