After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the PR visa?

You can call cic and ask them but usually it takes 3-4 weeks and once your tracking number is activated you will vet notification.

Is there a number we can call? Can you share the number?

I sent my passport for stamping and it was delivered a week ago , no update in my account yet.

How do we know that it was received safely and being processed?
What are the current timelines ?
what is the contact number to contact cic from usa ?

I pick up my visa on 12jan but didn't get stamp coz cic put expired date. 30/01/2018 expired 11/01/2018. Im panicing so badly. Anybody have any idea plz help

Please check whether your passport is expired, should be valid for at least 6 months

Lol ya my english looks pretty bad here. Excuse my english for now . I got my passport back from new dehli today with expired date 11/01/2018 saying not valid for travel.when its already 17jan2018. i checked letter thoroughly medical expiry date and visa expiry date is same. May be they will ask to do medical again but haven't got any email asking for re medical.

Enabled yesterday at 08:00 PM , Should get my passport by today evening as I am Ottawa Only.

Request for additional documents: October 12, 2017 (forgot to scan one passport page)
PPR: December 19, 2017
Passport sent: December 20, 2017
Passport received: I honestly do not know because Canada Post did not scan it properly, so I was freaking out for a couple of weeks until I found out the CPC Office in Ottawa had received it, I called CIC, completed web form, contacted CPC Ottawa processing centre. I was actually prepared to apply for a new one but thanks God, they found it!
Approved by CIC: January 18, 2018
Passport received: hopefully January 19, 2018, as it shows it is OUT FOR DELIVERY.

I think 1 month is minimum, rest depends on case to case. should not exceed six weeks.

PS. I submitted my passport to the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi
