Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission at the address indicated below.' didn't mention email anywhere

Ok so I guess yours is different. you should call immigration if you are not certain about it.

It is mentioned in CIC website that all cases applied before Dec 2016 will be finalized before Dec 2017. Inshaallah your case will be finalized soon.
