I am in the same situation. I just sent my husband's application forms to immigration centre in Canada, and my husband is living in Kabul. I don't know how long does it take.

salaam dear yasameen mine has been transferred to new dehli according to my representive there is good relation between India and afghan gov this is why they sent afghan's files to India .

Nick why are you scaring ppl off ? do you have any proof that it will take 2 to 3 years? Its gonna be the same as India, Nipal, and Buthan. CIC doesn't discriminate they will process based on the work load of that office.. The relationship of Afghanistan and India is really strong and its safer for Afghan Citizens to go to India than Pakistan and CIC is working on a poilet project on moving all Afghan cases to India.. Those cases that are getting moved from CHC IS will get special processing.. Don't be pessimistic Bro, think positive , and stop worrying too much..

Nick why are you scaring ppl off ? do you have any proof that it will take 2 to 3 years? Its gonna be the same as India, Nipal, and Buthan. CIC doesn't discriminate they will process based on the work load of that office.. The relationship of Afghanistan and India is really strong and its safer for Afghan Citizens to go to India than Pakistan and CIC is working on a poilet project on moving all Afghan cases to India.. Those cases that are getting moved from CHC IS will get special processing.. Don't be pessimistic Bro, think positive , and stop worrying too much..

Salam Dear all Pending Cases Individuals in Islamabad.
Well dears for sometime i got silent reader as i seen that there haven't been any big changes for to 70% of members inside this forum.
But March Month also Marshes now so we are prepared to enter April Month.
I hope in this April month at least 30% of members could get what they want like ( Interview Request , Medical Request , Re Medical Request , Passport Request or Finally Receive their passport with Canada visa )

Pakistan is overloaded that is why it takes 32 months , there is a reason why they're sending it to NDVO..
