I got my COPR a few weeks ago. My destination is Manitoba, Winnipeg. I am planning to soft land with my family in July for two weeks to look for schools for my kids as well as to find a location that is convenient to live (prefer close to supermarket and mall). As this time is just soft landing, I do not have a Winnipeg address to mail our PR cards, can I ask the officer to mail the PR cards to my friend"s home address which is in Toronto? I plan to real landing with my family next year summer time preferably.
I don't think using a Toronto address is a good idea. I would recommend that you get a mailing address using UPS Store and they can forward the cards to your home address (or to your friend's address) whenever they receive it.
