Do you know what might be the reason that mine is still 'Assessment' ? I think they might be punishing people who made mistake while submitting documents .

Why?

I applied to Employer Job offer: International Student stream
Submitted application : March 23, 2020
Received email from OINP for confirmation of the job: May 7, 2020 (still my employer not yet replied)
Status on portal: Submitted

I know another friend who applied on March 24, 2020 and received email on May 7 and his employer replied back with no change in job and he got acknowledgment mail from OINP as well. But still the status showing in his portal as Submitted

Is there anyone who replied back to OINP with job confirmation and still the status is Submitted ?

I submitted my profile on march 23 , and still status is submitted and i also got employment confirmation on may 7 and my employer rply them on may 11 and i got confirmation response too and still status is submitted.

the replying the employment status doesn’t mean the change of status, but they start process like normal situation. Have to wait when it comes to you. there is still lack of staff.

Because of Covid-19, the progress was held around Mar/20 and resumed around Apr/9, but very less.
They have started to work this week after confirmation of employment.
You will see the progress soon.

yes, you will get an e-mail when the status changes except for DIP

It took me one and half changed submitted to assessment.
