No, LMIA is not required. I was on a OWP, so was LMIA exempt.

If an applicant does not have an LMIA, their job offer wage must meet or exceed the starting wage for their occupation across all industries in Alberta.

No checks conducted or additional documents asked

when submitting documents I gave all that supports my application.

Education: gave both Original Degree copy and Transcript for canada Edu. For foreign Education gave ECA,Original Degree copy and Transcript. And added high school/+1,+2 pass certificate

Experience:
For Foreign exp gave letter from employer, all Tax documents, All Payslips(included 29 paystubs)

For Canada Exp, currently working in ALberta. gave letter from employer, all payslips. Till don’t have tax document.

Hi everyone,

I have a query related to Alberta Tech pathway. I’ve got an offer from an alberta company. Alberta tech pathway listed Mechanical Engineer as NOC. But I did my stydy in chemical engineering which is not listed in alberta NOC list. The job offer mention almost 60-70% responsibilities similar to Mechanical engineering occupation.
In addition to this, my express entry profile primary code is chemical engineering, my job responsibilities are mixed of chemical and mechanical

Am I eligible for Alberta Tech Pathway? Or should I ask my employer to give me job letter which mention mechanical engineering responsibilities for express entry just to be align with Alberta tech pathway.

Hope to get some inputs.

Does Express entry NOC code and Alberta Tech pathway NOC should be same? My study is in chemical engineering but my experience is lies under mechanical engineering as per job responsibilities

I got invitation to fill EOI for alberta tech pathway based on Mechanical engineering NOC as most of my duty mentin in my job offer align with mechanical engineering task. but my expression entry profile has Chemical engineer NOC code, So bit confused...

But I see that the quota for Tech EE is 1219 out of which only around 470 is remaining.

how do you know the quota? Any page where I can review? I will be submitting my docs in August before 9th. Will the seats be full?

what is the difference between EOI and NOI?

Hello all, I am new here. My date is 9th August last to submit and I am scared dunno why.

On the webpage they say that:

Applications by occupation
The AAIP has a high volume of applications in worker streams in the following occupations. When the volume of these applications exceeds the ability to issue nominations, these submissions may take longer to process or may be occupations excluded from Express Entry draws regardless of occupational demand.

• 62020 – Food service supervisors
• 62010 – Retail sales supervisors
• 63200 – Cooks
• 13110 – Administrative assistants
• 12200 – Accounting technicians and bookkeepers
• 73300 – Transport truck drivers
• 21222 – Information systems specialists
• 60020 – Retail and wholesale trade managers
• 65201 – Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations
• 21231 – Software engineers and designers

My occupation is 21231, will it be hard to get the certificate?

Hi I have got a job offer from an employer in Alberta starting September. It is eligible for the tech program but I can’t really see how many slots are remaining out of 1219. Do you know any way to check?? If I still apply would I get invitation this year ??
