Its a low possibility for the Cut-off to fall below 400 anytime between next 2 months. For the 9th Draw I am hoping it comes down from that 450+ barrier which is giving sleepless nights to a lot of people.
My Guess - 435 , rest lets hope it comes down even more
Lets be rational
If they will select around 800 (cut off point will be between 465-470)
And if they will select around 1500 or 1600 (cut off point will be between 450-455)
almost 300-400 new people will registered with job offer and PNP.
other 400-500 with local Canadian experience and/or Canadian education. (with CRS score 465 +)
another 700-5-600 will get registered with local Canadian experience and/or Canadian education. (with CRS score between 450 to 465)
One more point to be noted: CRS cut off point will also increase if the duration between draws will increase.
only chance to expect low cut off point is if the number of invitations increases. lets say around 1500 or more.....

totally agreed.. will hopefully give us some idea has to wat the govt plans to do for the whole year.. keep score high or let it drop by issuing higher ITA's
It is not possible that they will keeping on taking people with the same NOC code. I believe each and every NOC code must have a maximum no. of applicants to get in to it ( like FSWP). The points are just based on the level of Education and not on the NOC code. Eventually NOC Code will play its part. People having more than 400 have greater chance to have an ITA but its not guaranteed as well.
My score is 384 and i am as much positive as any 450+ candidate is lol

lets hope for something good...If NOC condition comes into play...than chances of non technical people will doomed..
at least they should keep things simple for this year........
In the meantime Australia is inviting 2500 to 3000 skilled immigrant every month. What is wrong with you CIC ? Who knows, maybe they are getting accustomed to the new system.

One annoying thing with the Australian points system is that they don't take into consideration each of the IELTS sections scores independently, instead they take into consideration the lowest section score of the IELTS, so if you have 8.5 on listening but 6.5 on writing, they'll consider your score as 6.5 which lowers your points significantly.
Personally I think that's the way it should be, if your English is competent / excellent you should be able to do all 4. It's tough for non-native speakers.
