7 or 6.5 ?????????

Hello guys this is Kumar from India. I have got acceptance letter from centennial college for a 2 year biotechnology course and iam going to drop my file in dropbox with in 15 days.

I have two IELTS scores 7 and 6.5
FIrst attempt Second attempt
L-8.5 L-7.0
R-5.5 R-7.0
W-6.5 W-6.0
S-6.5 Aggrregate 7 S-6.5 Aggregate 6.5.
So now which score i have to file???????? I thought to go with 7 but my reading score is less.

Please help......

Well, obviously the 1st one. Reason: according to CIC - Listening 7.5 (or above) will put u on high proficiency, while for writing, reading and speaking 6.5 (or above) will put u on high proficiency, so with ur first score results, u'll be getting 3 high proficiency (listening, reading and speaking) and one moderate proficiency (that is in writing).
While with ur 2nd score results, u'll be getting 2 moderate proficiencies (writing and listening) and 2 high proficiencies (reading and speaking).
So in 1st one, u'll be at 3 high and one moderate - while with 2nd one, u'll be having 2 high and 2 moderate proficiencies. So it is logical to send / use your first score results.

You can go either way you want ..... But, i personally feel that .... 1st transcript is better than the 2nd to turn things around ... Go with 7.0 ... Good luck ..
