Is it really true they have numbers to release COPR by year, I have seen in discussions? But I have heard once your application is approved you already allocated a number.
Not sure on the specifics, but it does kind of make sense, since, they would also need people to start off the new years with a bunch of applicants filling up their quota significantly. I just hope, we get to squeeze in somehow for this year. Not losing hope till at least December 23rd! Fingers Crossed!

eCoPR : Waiting Since The Dawn Of Time!
any particular reason you found from IRCC? its too long a wait after P2. or say ordered GCMS notes to see what's going on?
They wont give any reason, they will politely ask you for perpetual wait.

No point in ordering GCMS notes after P2. A lot pf the applicants who are in my shoes, they called and was was informed that eCoPRs and PR cards don't have any timeline. It's gonna take as long as it takes. They were told just to be patient and to wait!

We received the 'Portal 2' emails on November 21, but there was a duplicate case on the PR portal. This issue was resolved on December 3, and we've been waiting for our eCOPRs since then. We've heard that IRCC's automated system processes most cases unless a manual review is required. We hope to receive our eCOPRs before the New Year, as the automated system also operates on weekends.

I just got 2 BVL (Biometrics Validation Letter) correspondence letters for the BOWP/SOWP in my GCkey a wile ago. Both the applications have the FD dated December 23, 2024. Any idea as to when we will get the next update for the BOWP/SOWP application? Wondering how to know if it's been approved or not. Any insight is appreciated!

Hi
@Miss bee , I received eCOPR on the 15th November, but the case status in the PR Portal still says "in review with IRCC." I do not know whether the photograph I submitted is acceptable to IRCC, or they need it to be resubmitted. I haven't got any word about the status of my PR card (I understand the Canada Post strike may have played a role in the delay, of course). Is there a way to know whether the card is in the mail by now or not? Do you recommend calling the IRCC? Thanks.

You got the approval confirmation after 7 days from your FD? Those 7 days must have been excruciating for you. Did you remember receiving any GUs or emails from IRCC during this timeframe?
I just received my eCOPR a few minutes ago!!!
I’m so relieved and grateful. I will be updating my timeline as soon as I receive my card!!
