Hey Guys, I am currently at my second adr request phase for a pcc from my home country. I called ircc to see why my account was still showing we need your action. The agent told me they never received the document even though I transmitted it the day after it was requested (July 12) and the deadline was a week after. I transmitted it during the call and the agent said she can see it now. I’m really worried that this might impact the outcome of my application. Agent said she will leave a note explaining my situation but I am super stressed over this and wondering if anyone experienced the same situation?

Agent also told me she can see my eligibility and medical has passed. I got my AOR on May 4.

This has happened before. You should be fine now that the agent saw it & has made note of it.

The new target plan will come on Nov 1 for 2023. Targets are just projections because there are many uncertain factors which come into play. Many people added their spouses and dependants later on, many people had applications in EE and PNP as well, many people applied in two streams - IG and essential, many people applied in one stream more than once ( due to payment glitch), and some % of people also get refused as well, the system accepted 7k more applications due to technical glitch and so on. The number I mentioned is not considering any of the above factors.
but also, don't you think the spouses and families of TR to PR applicants will fall under Family/Spousal category and not public policy category?

My criminality check has been in progress since at least April. When I called yesterday, they said it was still in progress. I'm not sure if they even work on it. Does it really take this long? Maybe someone has had the same experience? A little concerned now.

Thanks @maxiie still no update or news so pretty much broken
But I'm visiting the forum usually everyday, good to see a couple of approvals recently
On Fb group. a couple of people mentioned that they received AOR in August and still waiting for the result. Previously, I thought that officer would give PR within the one-year deadline as mentioned in GCMS. But now, looking at their timeline looks like very few people may not even receive PR within one year after AOR.

Yeah, the one-year deadline is in the GCMS but not all officers are complying with it. It's always been justified that this pathway was a one-time public policy and they won't provide estimate of the processing time.
But overall it really depends on the officer and the case, I saw many people got AOR in Jan, Feb, and Mar and got approval in less than 6 months.

Yes, actually I was also kind of thinking of you for a few days. Most likely your case has gone to "enhanced screening" for you or your spouse regarding that your eligibility and other staff has passed. Unfortunately that may take months. One more thing that I have noted is that generally officers are not very OK with marriages which happen after immigration application gets through and they doubt genuineness of the marriage, apart from the fact that they favor more individual applicants to come per immi capacity ( thats why in express entry you lose points if you have spouse compared to single ). The whole process should be repeated for your spouse and since spouse was added end of March still not tooooo late anyway. Cheer up man ... we are all in same conditions. There are bad things with Canadian Immi system, yet good things as well, and everywhere algebraic sum is zero anyway. The good point is that when security starts it basically means you are done and its just a game of time.

Hopefully, before end of this year we all get some good news and why not celebrate together, may be ? Meanwhile the best is to prepare for what to do after you get your PR.
