IRCC has also provided an update on how the department defines a backlog. Its website notes that applications processed within its service standards are not considered to be part of the backlog. However, applications that are not processed within its service standards count towards the backlog. <-- From CIC News latest article.

So even though they might have far more applications than 2.4M, they may not be considered "backlogs" until it crosses the "standard time" lol

I think 50k was the number of admissions but not applications. Total applications are: ~ 84155 Engish speaking ( IG = 40k + 7k, Healthcare = 7.155k , non-healthcare = 30k) and ~7.022k french Stream. Even if you consider that 50% of applications have 2 people. Total will be ~137 k . Out of which they admitted only 50 k only. Still long way to go.
so if you're saying say 137k, and their target is 40k for 2022 and 32k for 2023 under public policy then where will all other go? Ukraine?

Requested GCMS notes May 23, received June 24, says Medical passed, criminality & info sharing in progress
GU July 9, called July 13 agent said eligibility passed
ADR July 19 for Schedule A, submitted same day, received July 20
GU 2 August 13
GU 3 August 18
Requested GCMS July 13, received Aug 19 says eligibility & medical passed, security not started, criminality & info sharing in progress
Portal 1 Aug 19, replied same day

eCoPR still waiting

I'm worrying about how long should I wait to get eCoPR because I see others usually get them on the next day after uploaded photo and address

The new target plan will come on Nov 1 for 2023. Targets are just projections because there are many uncertain factors which come into play. Many people added their spouses and dependants later on, many people had applications in EE and PNP as well, many people applied in two streams - IG and essential, many people applied in one stream more than once ( due to payment glitch), and some % of people also get refused as well, the system accepted 7k more applications due to technical glitch and so on. The number I mentioned is not considering any of the above factors.

dont trust PR portal (mine's still in review with IRCC lol).
Please link your application to CIC account (search application).
My photo was returned because the photo was too dark. The photo was taken professionally, so I have no idea what's going on. I did link my application to my account, but there's no movement. Hopefully I will get my card soon.

Depending on the officer. It may take anywhere between 1 day and 30 (or more) days.

Hi, anyone here who received an ADR for payment receipt of $570? I had paid a total of $1135 when I applied May 7. Anyone on the same boat?

TIA
