Got an email today that they've requested fingerprints and a police background check from RCMP in order to continue our application. Good news I'm hoping! (June 2018 applicant)

Started Processing Background Check: June 8th
OWP Received in Mail: July 19th
CSQ Received: July 16th
AIP: August 8th
Medical Request August 8th
Medical Completed: August 9th
SA: August 13th
Medical Passed: Aug 22
DM ECAS Sep 5
Landing Letter: Sep 16
Waiting on Landing interview invitation from Mtl Office now.

If you really want to link your PR card application, sure you can call. They could provide you the application number which could make it easier for you to link. But I don't think it's necessary. I would assume you will receive your card sometime this week or next week. It only took me 6 days to receive mine.

Another question, do I notify on my ECAS that my background check has started? I also cannot connect my application to my IRCC account. Can it be connected to the sponsor or the person who has sponsored?

HI! I also applied in April 2019, my CSQ was received on June 29th and I got it in the mail last Friday. They are still working on June don't worry!

I didn't know you could get medicals before receiving your CSQ that surprises me!
My Background check started in August, I haven't been requested any other additional documents so far.
