it's really frustrating that in Ontario they had already PR , it took them 6,7 to 8 months , and for Quebec applicants , it takes 11 to more than 12 months

QC applicants only have to show one year of income and can use other financial resources versus just income so many QC applicant qualify for PGP faster than other applicants. The processing time might be slower but you still come out ahead.

CSQ and undertaking application sent to MIDI: 5 Sep 2018
CSQ and undertaking application received by MIDI: 6 Sep 2018
Credit card charged by MIDI: 12 Sep 2018 ($279)
AOR and payment receipt from MIDI by post: 13 Sep 2018. Dated 12 Sep 2018
CSQ and undertaking received at home: 18 Oct 2018. Approved 15 Oct 2018

Nahhh, accuse de reception says 25 days. MIDI told me it’s 25 business days not the calendar days. So in fact 25 days will be almost one and half month, i suppose !

You're welcome. Please also note their webpage mentions that they are currently receiving an exceptional volume of family sponsorship cases and it has become impossible to meet the 25-day deadline.

PR + OWP app received: Mar 14
AOR : April 27
CSQ invitation from IRCC: May 1
CSQ applied: May 30
CSQ AOR: June 13
OWP approved: July 23 ** (email received today with the document number and validity) ***
CSQ: In process

Please note: because I applied restoration first then I applied for PR + OWP, that’s why my OWP is approved now after the approval of my “restoration of status” and when the 4 months are completed.

P.S. I phoned IRCC and reminded them that since 4 months have passed and my status has been restored as well; therefore, I am entitled to the OWP now. So they sent the message to the case officer on July 15; thus, After a week they have approved my OWP today.
