As per last year's time line, average processing time for PGP is around 350-400 days. So ,we should get our cases processed and PR issued in around a year's time. Lets hope it stays the same this year too...
What you have to do is to choose the option for PR applications, then choose any option when they ask with which letter your application begins. And then when they ask you for your file number just press #. Then they will ask for your year of birth. After you've entered the year they will say they were not able to find your application and then you will be offered several options including the one to speak to an agent, which is 0. That's the way I did it and it worked fine.
I do not think your timeline will be affected but, since your application is already transferred to NDVO, I believe you would have to find out the correct e-mail to contact NDVO and submit the copy of new passport with letter. Check your last e-mail from IRCC, it may have an email to communicate further with NDVO.
Another Quick way , if you have linked your application with "My CIC" then, you can upload the copy of new passport there. But sending a copy by e-mail is also important. I would suggest to do both, as backup.
Hi Javiya, please update my information. I received the email notifying me of sponsorship eligibility today(Aug,21) and the case has been forwarded to Ottawa. Thanks.
I feel so stressed as my dads
Death certificate is different in his real name. I have only a month to send it to IRCC and i know this one will take time fo fix please help me on some idea i can do. I am planning to send the wrong name on it tomorrow, please advice thanks
Hi Javiya
Unfortunately, no news for me from IRCC. I cannot see the status online either
When I spoke with them at the end of July they confirmed that my application had been received and told me not to worry that I couldn't see the status online saying that it was because they hadn't yet started processing it.
But I still can't see it in ECAS.
I think I'm gonna give them a call soon to see what's happening.
