1- I sent my PGP application via courier on July 31st but I have not heard from them at all yet. Is this normal?
2- What is E-cas? link please. (E-cas means *Link* application?) If so, I still can't link. Why is that?

Hi Jane Y, check your Ecas and try to link your application with My CIC account. You might see the status update. IRCC is not sending AOR e-mails anymore.

Thanks Javiya. I just got my online AOR on August 4. Please add me to the tracker. Application was delivered on June 7, 2017 using PO BOX. Parents' country of origin is China. Thanks.

I think you can link your case to My Account after you can check your status in CIC website.

I think its too early. You have to wait at least three weeks before you see anything in ecase

I sent my filled in PGP application by canada post to PO box. As per canada post online it shows that its delivered on Jul 6, 2017. I dont see anything got updated online whether cic is in receipt.. More over i received an email on Jul 20, 2017 reminding me to submit my parents sponsorship application before Aug 4, 2017. This makes me more confused and that makes me worry too if they lost it. i tried calling CIC but in vain. Any suggestions? please add to tracker list too. (parents origin : India)

More over i received an email on Jul 20, 2017 reminding me to submit my parents sponsorship application before Aug 4, 2017. Hi members,

Just a general question. My parents application was sent and received within the stipulated time frame.
We ensured that we were meeting the criteria to sponsor when we decided to place our name in the lottery.
My questions is that even after triple checking all the forms and documents, in case a mistake is made-Will the application be sent back to us without being processed in 2017 and we would have to wait for the lottery for 2018 or will CIC give a chance to resend the application with anything missing.
Looking forward to your thoughts.

What you have to do is to choose the option for PR applications, then choose any option when they ask with which letter your application begins. And then when they ask you for your file number just press #. Then they will ask for your year of birth. After you've entered the year they will say they were not able to find your application and then you will be offered several options including the one to speak to an agent, which is 0. That's the way I did it and it worked fine.

1. If the application is returned as incomplete you would have to reapply in the next year's lottery.
