whats the longest background check delay ? We have been in background check since 9 month and 2 weeks !!!

No sorry man but its not true, gender doesnt effect processing rates.

Thanks Chadi , I have called them but they refered me to beirut office because they dont have access to my wife file. But they said I should have news before medical exam expire on 15 of this month

My wife medical exam expire on 17 of this feb in few days.
We are since 9 months and half in background check and still waiting.
Do they ask for new medical test if we dont get the visa before 17 feb ?

Pre arrival received by 20 april 2018
Since then we are in background check for arround 9 month and 2 weeks

My medical exam expired on September 2018. However, the local MP in Canada was able to extend it by a year

It was unlikely due to the MP. CIC extends it often for young and healthy.
