If your medical is expired then they might ask you to redo the exam.

With our application it looks like they set the due date january 24, 2019 because my husbands medical expires february 9, 2019 so they have to finish processing before february 2019.

We received the letter ‘’ Pre- arrival service Invitation’’ by April 20 !!!

Now we are in Background check.

At seems BVO is slow !!!! Because of all the problems on our region !?!? I can’t tell

They tolds my husband between 2 and 3 month and not to expect before that

my wife had an interview jan 23
on jan 30 she got the pre arrival latter and bgc changed to in processing since that day no news its been silent for 4 months
i hopping to get somenews this month

it has nothing to do with problems on our region
one of my emplyee is a syrian ref
he got married on jan 2018
i did his application his wife lives in syria i did the same thing i did in mine i mailed his app on 15 of feb and guess what may 30 she the visa 3.5 month security check started on may 29 one day only.

the slowest 2 countires in bgc check
# 1 iran
# 2 lebanon
in 90% of the application backgroumd check doesnt take more the 3 month

leb gov they take forever to share any info with canadian agency
