Great! I am assuming you don't live in Toronto so it took you a bit longer to get the AOR? My AOR was issued on Aug 24th and yours?

I also received my parents' sponsorship documents request (applied on June 30th,2011). I am about to send them in a few days. How long it takes on an average after sending these documents to receive actual medical call, any guesses???

I applied in Apr 2011 and got document request this time last year. While many of the 2010 cases from last year have received medical request I am still waiting for medicals. However most people from 2010 who have received medicals got them within 4-6 months of approval while some recently were getting sponsorship approval and upfront medical request in the same letter. I think some people from this year's batch could have medicals by Dec 2015. It really depends on case to case and which visa office file is transferred to.

Hi guys, i need some advice asap!
filed for parents on aug3 2011..
i was expecting an email around july 28th 2015 for additional docs like you guys! never recieved anything in email or mail..i called cic 3-4 weeks ago and they said email was sent july 28th but i didnt recieve anything..email address amd home address verified and is correct!! They said they will have something sent to me either in email or mail but still nothing..i am very worried now because if the email they sent me had 28th july date on it meaning i have until october 28th to send the docs..but i have not recieved anything!!!
What do i doo?? plz advise

It would be handy to have a spreadsheet/table for the 2011 cases on this thread so that progress can be tracked by everyone. If everyone provides their timeline we could keep updating as everyone's application moves forward.

Please, do so. It will also help the 'next gen' PGP applicants like us.

So far, I've found the following SS in search for 2010-11 PGP applications:

- 2010 PGP Sponsorship: lists applications mostly received in 2010 which makes sense.

- PARENTS AND GRAND PARENTS SPONSORSHIP TIMELINE 2012: lists various applications from 2007 to 2010. I've no clue why it's named '2012'.

- PARENTS SPONSORSHIP SPREADSHEET: I believe this is a revised version of the above SS. But it still lists applications from various year ranging from 2007 to 2010.

If you know more, please share.

Ok guys I hv a question again , I am in the process off sending cpc-m additional documents requested , Is it ok if I notify them about by child born in 2013 in a letter and include in the documents or is there any other way to inform them about the additional family member ??

Yes you should inform them now. Write a letter and send with documents . Also birth certificate to just as a proof.

When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes in your application, such as:
- changes in your personal circumstances such as a birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce,
- change in contact information (email, mailing address, phone number),
- appointment or change of representative or designated individual, or,
- decision to withdraw your application
If you use the link from CIC, it will prompt you to email with the following info:
To: CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca
Subject: Change in personal circumstances

I think you should both email (as it's preferred by CIC) and mail your docs.
