My mom just got the passport request.

Her timeline would be:
Application: October 3, 2011
Additional documents submitted: August 2015
Sponsorship approved : March 9, 2016
Medicals requested: May 5, 2016
Medicals done: May 19, 2016
Passport requested: June 7, 2016
She is in Canada but she has her return flight booked for July 4. Does she have enough time to submit the passport to Ottawa or she should wait to return to home country?

It took us exactly 2 weeks to get passport back from Ottawa so if your mum is going on July 4 you should have passport back if you send it asap.

My mom is here in Canada on supervisa, but her home address is set for back home. Should i change her address to Canada so the file can be transferred to Ottawa? How does it work?

We received two separate emails one for medical and one for police clearance request.

Did you receive both the emails on Principal Applicant's email address or your email address (Sponsor)?

The emails are received on Principal Applicant's email.

I used my email address (sponsor) in my parents application. So the emails were sent to me because it was my email as contact in application form.
