Although it's too early to say that he was definitively "right" - note he promised scores would drop to around the 400 CRS level - we're certainly moving in the right direction. It's difficult to say at the moment whether the number of ITAs going up is as a result of the backlog clearing or the fact that ITAs were so low for several months earlier this year so CIC are now issuing more ITAs to make up for that.
I've always argued that there was never likely to be a massive backlog around the 481 mark and that scores were bound to drop if a few more draws came up with ITAs in the 1500 region. It's really refreshing to see a lot of the doom-mongering on here being finally silenced and to finally some positivity from people! There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel for those 450+
I was sure doing two draws in a row would be the only way to break the bottleneck of 483-480!!!
I'm getting my ITA today with 480 points!!! 8)
I was desperate last week and now this! I almost couldn't believe it. ;D ;D ;D ;D
The email takes a few hours to arrive right? :
Imagine sending out over 1800 emails! it sure will take long!
And for everyone who is below 475, keep on hoping! I'm sure the so called delusional (by some people) guy from CIC in Edmonton was not completely deranged!!! They are increasing the number of invites and they are proposing strategies to break the bottleneck they created! Hope and positive thoughts to all of you!!! <3
I just created another account and linked my Express Entry application to this new account. I am not using a GCKey account this time. I created an account using a Sign-In Partner. I used my TD Online Banking account. I am able to access my Express Entry profile now. I am still waiting for the ITA to arrive and for my profile to be updated. I know it may take a few hours for the ITAs to be sent out.
Good luck to those who received ITAs today in your next steps!
