June 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi guys, a quick question. I’m a June 1st online applicant with AOR on Sep 9. I received my citizenship test invite on Feb 3rd and completed it on Feb 11th. All other stuff is in progress including the Background check. I’m visiting back home for a month and concerned if a finger print request comes in while I'm not in Canada. Is there a way I can get FP done while outside Canada or be proactive and should just get them done while still here in Canada before the trip. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just want to say good luck everyone the wheels at CIC are turning, but slowly. My partner didn't want to share her time line at the time but will allow me to give hope to others. The application was submitted in June applicant and she completed her Oath Ceremony yesterday. We didn't ask for rushed service.

AOR was September
Test was late December
Oath Invite was mid to late Jan
Oath Feb 22

Thanks for the update. As for me, still everything in progress, but TODAY I did see a Ghost Update. My AOR was in the last few days of September, so I hope to see a test invite soon.

I got the same issue , just posted above . The FP is easy - any local center or depending where you are police dept can take it ,,, but you need letter to instruct them where to send and so on.. I also have no email - if you find a solution for email please let me know

I just logged in and see a ghost update:
Your citizenship application status Updated: February 22, 2022

No email or any other updates.
Applied online June 27, AOR September 24.

Things seem to be moving, even though it is slower than we'd like.

My Background Verification was completed on January 24 and I haven't heard anything after that. Some people who applied weeks after me have completed their test - a small percentage of June applicants have even received their Oath ceremony date - so I guess it'll be our turn sooner or later.

I applied in June 2021 paper application. Got test invite December 23 and passed. Test shows as compete on tracker. But nothing else. Everyone else’s BG check ahs cleared. I’m wondering how come mine is still stuck

It takes approx. between 3 to 5 weeks for IRCC to receive the results from RCMP . Prices are vary from place to another , it costs between $40 to $65 .

I am in a similar situation. I am a June Online applicant - wrote the test last week, and it was marked complete yesterday. But all other things, including BGC, are in progress.

It seems that the SCR office is sending out test invites before the BGC is complete.
