Hello folks, I haven't still received portal email for virtual landing for my mum. My father who is in India has sent his passport for stamping to vfs.
PPR: Jan 21
Webform for virtual landing raised: jan 21 and Jan 23
Anyone has similar experience or can anyone share any best practice to get portal email?

There is a long wait for virtual landing so it will take few months.

Thanks @canuck78 My mother is here on a visitor visa with a return ticket on Mar 24 and I had also applied for visitor extension with a hope that she can stay on a mainatined status till she gets approval but now since her PR is approved as dependent but awaiting virtual landing, she doesn't need to fly back...is my understanding correct?

She may still need to extend her stay. You’ll need to wait and see when she gets her landing.

Biometrics letter - Sep 7 2020
Medical, PCC & travel info request - Nov 3 2021
Invitation to pre-arrival - Nov 18 2021
Pr Portal - Feb 2 2022

My parents are already in Canada.

I believe now they will send credentials for pr portal and then they will send ecopr.

How long it takes for next step after pre arrival letter?
I believe pre arrival letter is just for information, we don’t need to submit anything, correct?

PPR is the next step. I got my pre-arrival letter on Jan 13 - still waiting for PPR. Some people get both on the same day and some wait for months - sigh-
