Hey guys,

Does anyone know how I can track the status of my Passport Surrender Application on the BLS website? I don't see Passport Surrender in the drop down options on the tracking page.

I know it can be done through Passport Seva. However, I'm assuming the status will only be reflective on Passport Seva when the application is sent to the Indian High Commission. Is that the case? Or does BLS itself issue the surrender certificate and not send it to the Indian High Commission?

If so, is there a way to track what happens with the application once it reaches the BLS centre?

After login, it will show your surrender application. It will show status button when you select the application radio button.

Does anybody know if he visits the BLS centre, he can collect it personally and not wait for the courier service? I ask as i am in the same boat. Kindly guide if anybody has collected the booklet on the same date as shown in 'Document received At TORONTO On ...'

I hope I will be able to see some update in next couple of days. Date Of Acknowledgment is showing as 29-OCT-2021 for my OCI Application.

Mine is same as yours. Hopefully in a couple of days

If you paid for courier services, give it 4-5 more days it will reach you. Pickup is only possible between 3-4 PM or something - and even then there is a queue

I checked in https://ociservices.gov.in/welcome and it says 'No record found' where on BLS site it says 'Processing at Consulate General '. Why this discrepancy?

It takes about 2 weeks to show up on the OCI website.

Try searching the forum first. Most of the questions are already asked.

It's more than 3 weeks for our application and still no update on OCI website. BLS status is processing at consular but no record on OCI.

Update: Shows acknowledgment ('under-process) today on OCI website. 17 days after submitting at BLS @ Toronto.

Hi..when did u apply? Mine was postal and received at BLS on 4th Nov, then status updated as Processing at consulate on 15gh Nov but still m not able to track on OCI site.

Thanks for the info. I'm traveling to India by Etihad on 7th of December. I just have 2.5 hours layover in Abu Dhabi. Should I take an RT-PCR test at Abu Dhabi as well even if I had taken it in Toronto before departure? Kindly let me know. Thanks in advance.

Also, I have a 3 year old and a 9 month old with me. Would they require tests before flying?

Its bit off-topic tho, but have you confirmed with Etihad that they will let you transit to Delhi? I was checking India's AirBubble rules and they are confusing!

With in two weeks to show the status on oci-website from Nov-15th.
