I just did my test and pass it. Online applications April 18 2021.

I applied April 19, 2021 and BG completed Nov10. No update after that.

If you have received the test invite email, sometimes there are three letters in the email that can tell you what is the office. Also, you can try to call IRCC and get the information from them or you can request ATIP/GCMS notes (Privacy Act is for free as you are a Permanent Resident of Canada).

I did apply for my ATP notes on Nov 7 and got temporary tracking number, but they never send a new assigned tracking number. Any one applied and knows how long it takes.

I did apply for my ATP notes on Nov 7 and got temporary tracking number, but they never send a new assigned tracking number. Any one applied and knows how long it takes.

The regular time is 30 days, but lately is taking from 30 to 60 days to receive it, you won't receive a new number until they send the actual file with the notes.

Keep an eye on your email, I think there was one member here that waited around 12 weeks after the Ghost update to receive FP request.

I called CIC today. They confirmed that the criminality check has been completed and the file was sent to the local office in Edmonton.
They also said that the Security check is under process since Sep 9th,2021.
I also asked them about the FP request, they said that it's only needed for a criminality check and because mine has already been completed so there won't be any need for FP request in my case.

How do you see the above scenario any advises?

I found the below and it confirms that Security checks are perform by a different agency, so what the agent said is correct, no need for FP.

  • Security checks are done by CSIS
  • GCMS checks are done by IRCC
