If the photo Id was not clear and they decided to send me another test invitation, after how long do you think I will receive the second invitation test?
Hi, I have just received my fingerprint request in the portal. but I didn't receive an email yet. I tried searching in spam folder, is there an alternative? From where can I get this letter?
language skills: in progress
Background verification: In progress
Physical presences:in progress
Prohibition: in progress
Citizenship ceremony: not started.
Has anyone have test completed but their background is in progress.
Is there a thread about the format of the online citizenship test?
For those who passed the citizenship test already, do you think reading the "Discover Canada" booklet would be enough for the test? (I already have one)
Are they using zoom or some other online platform for the citizenship test? (I am afraid to click onto the link from their invitation letter, I am not ready to take the test yet)
I know the oath ceremony is currently on zoom only.
I gave one read to the Discover Canada Book so I have gone through the details once. Then I did some mock tests that are available online, I just googled 'Citizenship mock test' and few links popped up. I tries few different mock tests and gave my test next day and passed with 20/20.
They send you a link which opens in a web browser and you give you test there. You will have to take your picture and one picture of you ID using webcam before the test begins.

Yes a few applicants, there is one I think in the March thread that called IRCC and they indicated that Criminality (RCMP) has been completed however they are still waiting to receive the security screening, and that is why the BG has not been completed.

This is a sticky thread in this forum, it has a summary of the book in English and French and a lot of websites to practice sample tests. Notes from Discover Canada and Sample tests.
There are a lot of resources on Youtube, audiobooks, practice tests, etc.
Also you can find the step by step tutorial (about the test) here:
Thanks i just received the email.
I live in the GTA. I see there are multiple options to do fingerprints. Does anyone know which method is the most time and cost effective.
Is it RCMP, local police station or other institute?

I went to a RCMP authorized company to get them done, as my local police are not currently providing fingerprint services (GTA). It took about 4-5 weeks for the background check to clear on the tracker after having them done.
