Yeah thats true but I guess a lot of other ppl have applied from USA as well who are not here. I just prsy all of us get an answer soon

I'm sure there's quite a few folks in these forums who have crossed 30-35 business days of processing and still have not received an update on their visitor visas, after applying on the new portal. Please can any such individual advise if they have raised a web form after the 30 day mark and if it helps at all?

Yes, yesterday I raised a webform asking about the progress of my application since 30 business days have already passed,my timeline is as following:
Applied through IRCC new portal on:30 September 2021
Already passed biometrics on the first application in June.
Eligibility review started on the 9th October 2021
No update till now.

I agree, atleast people who mentioned tourism as purpose of visit have their applications at pause with COR as USA. I myself applied on April 05th, again on Oct 29th, yet no update whatsoever.

Yes, yesterday I raised a webform asking about the progress of my application since 30 business days have already passed,my timeline is as following:
Applied through IRCC new portal on:30 September 2021
Already passed biometrics on the first application in June.
Eligibility review started on the 9th October 2021
No update till now.

Thanks for the response. I am glad your review of eligibility has started. Hopefully your webform should trigger them to complete it. Did you apply for spouse? I am planning to send in a webform after day 30, which will be Nov 23rd.

Not spouse,I applied as an an extented family since my father is a PR.

Applied on Sep 08. Sent webforms before and after 30 days, still nothing. Eligibility review started around last week of Sep, nothing after it.

Its so frustrating.
I am a PR and applied for my mother’s visitor visa on 30th sept via portal.
49 days passed. No updates, nothing.

1st application in GCKey: July 4th, 2021
2nd application in IRCC Portal: Sep 28th
